    Description

    Antique Tool - 3 Hook Cotton Tobacco Hanging Balance Beam Cast Iron Scale. This is a working antique scale found as is under the eaves in the attic of an old Colonial New England home in the Connecticut River Valley, a well-known tobacco growing area. The scale is stamped with a "14" on the end shield piece and there are numbered weight gradations and notches on 2 sides of the beam. The original weight is attached.  All original and in working order. See Photos.  Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
