    Description

    Antique Balance Scale In Wood Box Old.  Looks cool and still works.  The box lid is broken into two pieces but it still goes together and closes very well.
    Cased set of beam scales by W&T Avery in iron and brass.
    Includes some penny weights. Sizes in DWTS are 6, 5, 4, 3, 1, 1/2 and 6 grains.
    Has some patena to the scales please see pictures.
    I'm not sure when it was made but the company started in 1818.  I would think it's easily over 100 years old.
