You are buying a 3x glass lens illuminated magnifier. The 3 inch lens is set in a 2 1/4" deep plastic housing which is pre-focused for using flat on the surface you are studying (i.e. stamps, coins, etc.). It measures 9 1/2" x 4 3/4" x 2 1/4" and requires 2 C batteries (
NOT INCLUDED
).
It has countless uses for hobbyists, collectors, electronic engineers, scientists, stamp collectors and students and would be great for anyone who has a hard time reading fine print.
