This is the KOIKUCHI Shirt of the [Tora Ichi] brand, which originated in Kojima in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, famous for the creation of Japan's domestic denim fabric.
Just like denim, the more you wash it, the more supple and comfortable the cotton becomes.

It is made as a "koi-kuchi shirt" to be worn for Japanese festivals, but it is also use for everyday wear.
