Description
So I went to the sale of a woman are her brother who had died the brother was almost 100 years old and she was a few years younger. This was amongst the woman's items. This is an all silk two piece women's pajama set. They came in the worn old bag they were placed in when purchased which is from Mitsukosi Limited which is a massive Dept store in Tokyo Japan. On the bag it says "Silk Pajama Ladies Wear.....Cleaning Instructions: Wash only in luke-warm water or dry clean......Mitsukoshi Limited The LeadingDepartment
Store In Tokyo Japan". The set has not been worn but was packed away for a long time. If you look at where I am pointing in one of the pictures you will see that the tab that holds down one of the front ties has a dark spot on it. Also on the back part of the pants, again where I am pointing, there a couple tiny little areas (about 1/4") where the sheen to the silk is a little off. Hard to see but I try to point out everything. The top or kimono has writing on the chest but I don't know what it says. The pants are open on both sides of the waist and close with ties on each side. So the size is adjustable if you loosen both side ties. At the bottom of the bottom of the pants there is a band and another tie. They remind me of Genie pants. The top ties in the front. There is no size on anything but I would say and small to medium. The measurements below are of the side flaps touching with no gap and the front flaps on the top toughing with no overlap or gap.
