Description

This high quality swiss instrument combines a 3X and 10X magnifier with a stamp examination platform and provides a serrature gauge as well. The original light fixture is included and the bulb works/lights up. However, you may need a new bulb.

Optics:
Made in Switzerland by Fred Suter in Basel c.1960s. This is an early Philatell Standard model with a lamp. Two glass lenses are 40mm and 16mm diameter with 3x and 10x magnification power.

Rolodex style perforation gauge from 10 to 16 1/2. The round observing deck can be rotated by a lever on the side for precise movement of the stamp. Adjusters moving smoothly and fixing the magnifiers firmly into desired position. Base made from mate
